SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Braking System Installation - 2016 Nissan Versa Note

Ryan: Hey everyone, Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2016 Nissan Versa Note, we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install the Demco Stay-IN-Play supplemental proportional braking system. Now, for the Nissan Versa Note, you're going to need seven main components to be able to flat tow it down the road. You're going to need a tow bar, a base plate, safety cables, a diode wiring kit, a braking system, a battery charge line, and a brake light relay. Whenever flat towing a vehicle behind a motor home, a braking system is going to be required by law. So, not only is our system going to keep us legal, it's going to keep us more safe, and it's going to help reduce all that wear, and tear on our motor home. Our braking system is proportional, so what that means is when we're going down the road in our RV, however hard, or soft, we apply our brake pedal in here, our braking system is going to match it in our towed vehicle.Another thing I really like is that we're going to have a indicator light on the back of our rear view mirror. more

Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit Installation - 2016 Nissan Versa Note

Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2016 Nissan Versa Note, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for towed vehicles. Now for the Nissan Versa Note, you're going to need seven main components to be able to flat tow it down the road. You're going to need a tow bar, a base plate, safety cables, a diode wiring kit, a braking system, a battery charge line and a brake light relay. The reason that we're going to need a brake light relay for our Versa is simple. Whenever we're flat towing our Versa down the road, we're in our motor home and use our turn signal.Whenever we apply the brake in our motor home, that's actually going to override our turn signal. So on the back of our car, we're not going to have our turn signals flashing when we need them to, but with the brake light relay installed that brake signal from our motor home is not going to override our towed vehicle's turn signal. more
